Jason Glenn

Campus Athletic Director & Head Football Coach

Coach Jason Glenn has a Bachelors and a Master’s degree from Texas A&M.  His playing experience includes playing in the NFL for 7 years, 1st team All Big 12, 2nd team All American 2000, Houston Touchdown Club Defensive Player of the Year in 1996, 1st team All State in 1996. Voted Texas A&M Top 20 Defensive Players of All Time. His coaching experience includes 7 years of coaching at Pearland, Chavez and with the Minnesota Vikings. He coached and won in the 2010 State Championship in Pearland.  He is married to Terrika Glenn; they have known each other since Kindergarten. They have a 14 yr. old daughter named Kaidance Riley Glenn and a 10 yr. old son named Jason L. Glenn II (Goes by J.R). Coach Glenn loves to read, run, workout, and ride his bike with his wife and kids.

Bo Hernandez

Freshman Football Coach
Coach Bo Hernandez has a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Houston. He is certified to teach Special Education, Health and Physical Education.  Bo is in his 18th year of coaching and his 15th year at Klein Oak. Prior to coaching at Klein Oak, Bo coached at Trinity, Conroe, and Humble High Schools.  Bo is married to Dayna who also serves the students of KISD, and is step-father to Tony and Tyler.

Layne Westmoreland

Freshman Coach
Coach Layne Westmoreland has a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Houston. He is certified to teach Special Education and Social Studies. Prior to coaching at Klein Oak he spent three years at Hildebrandt Intermediate. Layne also served in the United States Navy. He is a graduate of Klein Oak, and played football for Coach Smith.

 

Tyler Condiff

Coach Tyler Condiff has a Master’s of Education from Frostburg State University (MD), where he coached as a graduate assistant for two years. He also graduated from Southern Virginia University (VA) with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in History. While at SVU, he was a four-year starter for the football team. This is his third year at his alma mater, graduating from Klein Oak in 2008. Coach Condiff has been playing or coaching for thirteen years, including eleven years with the offensive line. He and his wife, Karlie, have two children, Evelyn, who is 3, and Walter, who is 1 ½.

Darrick Vaughn

Coach Darrick Vaughn is from Houston, Texas where he attended Nimitz high school. He earned a football scholarship to Texas State University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas State University. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons and became an all-pro return specialist while playing defensive back before finishing his professional career with the Houston Texans four years later. This will be Coach Vaughn's 1st year at Klein Oak as the Defensive Coordinator / Safety Coach. Darrick has been married to Krishauna for 14 years and has 2 daughters, Khloe (11) and Kasey (6).  He is entering his 13th year of coaching with a stop in Spring ISD.  

Mike Lynch

Coach Mike Lynch will be entering his 29th year of coaching football in the Houston area. He comes to Klein Oak High School after coaching stops at Eisenhower, Spring, Oak Ridge, and Tomball High schools before getting the opportunity to come to Oak. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Iowa University. Coach Lynch will be coaching the corners this fall and working with Track in the spring. Mike has been married to his beautiful wife Maria for 19 years and has 2 children that are currently attending Klein Oak High School.  Aaron is a senior and Rachel is a sophomore. Coach Lynch is excited to join the Panther Family and is looking forward to a great year.  

Casey Westmoreland

Coach Westmoreland has a Bachelor of Science degree from Sam Houston State University.  This will be Coach Westmoreland’s 2nd year at Klein Oak, and he will be coaching freshman football and softball.  Casey has been married to his wife Kara for 12 years and they have a 9-year-old son named Max.  Coach Westmoreland is entering his 18th year of coaching with stops in North Zulch and Magnolia ISD.  He is a graduate of Klein Oak, class of 95.  His brother Layne is the Panthers D-Line Coach.

Brandon Carpenter

Coach Carpenter is entering his first season for the Klein Oak Panthers, his 16th overall in the coaching profession.  An alumnus of Sam Houston State University and a high school graduate of Tarkington High School in Cleveland, Coach Carpenter returns to Klein ISD after leaving Klein Forest in 2009 to become the Head Football Coach & Athletic Director for his hometown Longhorns guiding them to their first playoff win in school history.  He and his wife of 21 years, Maggie, have three beautiful daughters, McKaily (Mac), 14, Erin, 9, and Mollie Shea, 2.  Coach Carpenter loves his family dearly and appreciates the love and support he receives from them!

Jim Bradley

Coach Bradley will be entering his 38th year of coaching and 4th at Klein Oak after returning from a two year stint at Tomball.  Jim received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from New Mexico State in Physical Education and History, he currently teaches U.S. History at Klein Oak.  Prior to Klein Oak, Jim had coaching stops at Waco, El Paso Chapin, Spring, Santa Fe (NM), NMSU, and Mayfield.  He is currently the Strength and Conditioning Coach at Klein Oak.  Jim is married to DeAnna (18 years) and has three children, Krystyn (24) who is married to Casey Strong, and twins Trevor and Marisa who attend Krimmel Intermediate.  

Derek Jones

Freshman Coach

Education: Received Bachelors of Science in Speech Communication from Oklahoma State University in 1994. Earned Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management in 2009 from the University of Phoenix. 
Playing Experience: Blue Chip, 2-sport athlete. Bronze medalist in Shot Put at the Texas Track and Field State Championships as a senior. Sporting News Preseason All-Big 8 Selection at TE in college. Played 2 seasons professionally in the Regional Football League (Houston Outlaws), and the Spring Football League (Houston Marshals). Became engaged to longtime sweetheart Jennifer Girven last year. Has twin boys, Derek Jones Jr, and Trey Jones that attend UMHB playing football and studying Pre-Med.  Has two daughters, Brinley and Makenzi.

Mike Jaskowiak

 

Coach Jaskowiak is in his 2nd year at Klein Oak and will be coaching kickers and punters for the football program, as well as coaching soccer. He is originally from Long Island, NY, grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area, and is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a degree in Finance. He spent 15 years as a natural gas and electricity trader before coming to education, and teaches AP and Level Economics at Oak. Coach J enjoys spending time with his dog Champ, his niece and nephews (Hattie, Logan, Ryan, and Joshua), watching college football, and playing soccer.

Jacob Rooney

 

Coach Rooney is a recent graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in History. In addition to studying History at A&M, he also minored and earned his certification in English. This will be Coach Rooney’s first year at Klein Oak. Along with football, he will be coaching baseball, and teaching English II. Jacob is engaged to his fiancé, Cory Saffell, and they plan to be married in the summer of 2019.

Mark Roberts

 

Coach Roberts is in his fourth year teaching at Klein Oak High School, his second year coaching and first season as a member of the Klein Oak Football coaching staff. Coach Roberts heads up the Video Technology team, as well as coaching Boys Track. He is certified to teach Computer Science, Technical Education, Technical Applications and Business. He earned his undergraduate degree from Sam Houston State University (BBA in International Business and Economics) and his master’s degree in education (MEd. In Educational and Instructional Technology) from Texas Tech University. Coach Roberts is married to Susan Roberts, who is also a member of the Klein Oak coaching staff (Girls Volleyball and Girls Track), and together they have 6 children – Meagan, Kaileigh, Emily, Chase, Dillan and Cady. Dillan and Cady, the youngest of the six, are both seniors in college. Dillan attends Texas A&M University, and Cady plays Division 1 Women’s Lacrosse for Presbyterian College in South Carolina. Coach Roberts is a FAA licensed private pilot, as well as FAA licensed commercial drone pilot. Using this team’s drones, this enables the Video Technology team to provide coaches and players with a unique aerial perspective of their game.
